Bubbly Flowing As TheBlackMarket.biz Is Launched !
The bottles of bubbly were ceremoniously popped and flowing as TheBlackMarket.biz (TBM.biz) an online African trader site was launched. TBM.biz took it's maiden voyage on Black Friday, 27 November 2009. If the contents of the first offerings are any indication of the goods to come, one should expect nothing but extraordinary top shelf inventory. While the initial cargo was limited, the quality and uniqueness displayed was nothing short of spectacular. African wines and artifacts were the "inaugural" offerings.
When we say "inaugural" it's meant literally, as the featured wine selection being offered is the inexpensive Graham Beck Brut NV. In 1994 when Nelson Mandela celebrated being the first democratically elected President of South Africa, he toasted with it. In February 2008, after declaring his intention to run for President, then Senator Barack Obama took his wife Michelle to one of their favorite restaurants in Chicago where the bubbly was recommended. They toasted the momentous occasion with two glasses, and it immediately became a hit. They were so impressed they ordered six bottles, and it was the libation of choice on November 4, 2008 when celebrating Obamas' historic election as first President of the United States, of African descent.
